For those of you who don’t know much about Chicagoland Hockey, there is a special group that is very close to my heart and very close to the Vikings, that I’d like to make you aware of. The Chicago Blackhawks Special Hockey Team plays out of a handful of rinks in Northern Illinois. Their rosters are open to anyone who wants to play regardless of age, race, sex or ability. The teams are comprised of players that have Autism, Down Syndrome or other developmental disabilities.
If you know someone who would like to join or if you would like to make a donation please visit their website at www.chicagospecialhockey.com or contact Melanie Freeman at firstname.lastname@example.org
