A big congrats to the Vikings Squirt 05s for taking home the top prize in the Warrior AAA Invitational in Detroit this weekend.

The fun started on Friday where the Vikings topped the Steel City Ice Renegades 7-0 and then the Columbus Jr Blue Jackets 2-1.   Saturday morning, they toppled the CT Oil Kings 2-0 to advance as the top seed from Pool B.

The first round of the playoffs saw a matchup with the Cleveland Barons, where Vikings won in convincing fashion 6-1.  On Sunday morning, the Vikings took down the Sylvania Northstars 3-0 in the semi-finals to advance to the Championship.

The Championship was a rematch from pool play against the CT Oil Kings.   The Oil Kings came to play, but when the final buzzer sounded, they were once again outmatched by the mighty Vikings, 2-1.
