Great job to our 2005 Squirts this weekend in Detroit as they helped Team USA take the Gold Medal in the AAA Nations Cup.

After a strong Friday performance, going 1-0-1 in pool play, the boys faced some stiff competition on Saturday and dropped both games to end 1-2-1. 

In the seeded games on Sunday, the Vikings rallied to beat the Lambton Jr Sting 4-2 in their final game.  Team USA had a strong day today after getting dominated by Canada in pool play.   The Vikings played their part, getting 2 of Team USA's 17 points in the final seeded games to help their team take Gold.

The Vikings organization is very proud of it's 2005 crew for such a strong showing in a AAA tournament.  This is the second time this year they performed so well at such a high level after winning the Warrior AAA invitational earlier in the season.
