The Vikings Girls and Boys teams fared very well this weekend in Big Bear's Dragon's Lair Tourney this weekend, taking home 2 Championships and 2 Runner-ups.

The Girls U14 team, going 2 and 1 in round robin play, rallied in the Semi-Finals to take down the Hawks to advance to a rematch of their round robin loss.  This time, the Vikings would prevail, taking down the Warriors and bringing home the top prize.

The Girls U16 team was a different story.  They dominated play all weekend, taking all but 1/2 point in the round robin (period scoring), downing the Indy Fusion, Oakland Jr Grizzlies and Cedar Rapids.  They steamrolled Cedar Rapids again in the semi's to face a tough Glenview Stars team in the final.  The Vikings would claim victory in a hard fought battle to take home the Championship. 

The Bantam A team went 3 and 1 in round robin play, taking down the Hawks (EPIC), Sabres and Falcons along way to advance to the Championship game on Sunday where they fell to the very talented Blues team 5-1.

The Vikings Midgets fared well also, with the U16's advancing to the Final Game by going 2 and 1 in round robin play and falling to the Hawks in the final game.  The U18's fought 3 hard battles in the round robin, losing to the Falcons by 1 goal and tying 2 other games to the Hawks and SHAW.  They were able to win their consolation game over the Jaguars.

The Vikings Squirt A team had a great round robin, going 2-0-1, to advance as the 2nd seed to the Semi's, where they would fall to Skokie 7-3.
