The Orland Park Vikings are proud to announce that 6 players from the girl’s hockey program have advanced to Tier 1 AAA clubs for the upcoming 2016-17 season. 

Fresh off their recent trip at the USA Hockey Tier II Nationals in Vermont, Celia Palzkill (D) and Aly Pomillo (F), who together captained the U16s, will both play for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals U19s.  Avery Chemlovsky (F) will make the jump to Team Illinois U19s while Michelle Kaczmarek (D) earned a spot with the St. Louis Lady Blues U16s.  Sophie Regovic (F), last season’s leading point scorer, will suit up for the Chicago Mission U16s who were nationally ranked in the top 10 last year.  The Chicago Mission have also added first-year U14 Vivian Cronin (F) to their squad.

“We are very excited about the advancement of these players and we know each one is better prepared for the challenge.”, stated Girls Director Keith Mizwicki.  “Each kid brings something different to the table from a skill perspective but what is constant is their willingness to learn and strong work ethic.”, Mizwicki added.  We look forward to their continued success next season.
