America's Showcase was developed to provide the nation’s premier high school players an opportunity to be scouted by high-level programs so those players may further their hockey careers in prep school, college, and beyond.  In 2017 The Vikings were well represented as six girls from our State Championship Team competed as members of Team Indiana and Team Illinois combined in the national event.

Annette Scislowicz, shined in between the pipes for Team Illinois making 118 saves over four games. Her strong play led her team. For Team Indiana, Hannah Jura played 5 games with 4 assists and the GAME WINNING GOAL in the Championship game. Sarah Tretina and Katie Trudeau each had an assist and a goal in tournament play.  Madilynn Hickey lead the entire showcase, in points with 13 pts, 4 goals, 9 assists.  Claire Hickey took second in points with 12 pts in 5 games, 7 goals and 5 assists.  Claire was also voted by opposing coaches as the MVP of the entire girls showcase.
