Community Service Projects

Vikings Youth Hockey: Leading with Heart On and Off the Ice

Team community service projects take place from Thanksgiving through the Christmas holiday seasons.

At Vikings Hockey, giving back is just as important as faceoffs and slap shots. Our teams take pride in creating meaningful impact through a wide range of community service projects, including packing meals for Feed My Starving Children, baking cookies for families at the Ronald McDonald House, organizing Toy Drives, helping collect donations for the Orland Park Food Pantry and donating essentials to women and children’s shelters.

Many of these efforts take place during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, when our players come together to make the holidays brighter for those in need. These seasonal projects underscore our belief that hockey builds more than athletes, it builds leaders, givers, and compassionate teammates.

Vikings players are always seeking new ways to support their communities, showing that true sportsmanship extends far beyond the rink. Whether we’re volunteering, raising awareness, or simply lending a helping hand, Vikings Hockey continues to skate toward a better tomorrow...together.
