Vikings Youth Hockey Community Service & Donation Statement
Vikings Youth Hockey, located in Orland Park, Illinois, is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. As such, all donations made to Vikings Youth Hockey are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
In addition to providing hockey programming for young athletes, Vikings Youth Hockey supports local community involvement. The organization is approved to work with area high schools to provide students with opportunities to complete their required community service hours. Students who volunteer with Vikings Youth Hockey can count these hours toward their school service requirements.
Community service hours may include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Working directly with youth skaters to help foster skills and confidence.
- Assisting coaches with camps, clinics, and practices.
- Volunteering time to the Storm Special Hockey skate, a program affiliated with the Vikings that provides hockey experiences for players with intellectual disabilities.
We are proud to continue our mission of growing the sport of hockey, fostering youth development, and giving back to the community. For further information about donations or community service opportunities, please contact the Vikings Youth Hockey Board of Directors President, Andrea Joy at vikingshockeypresident@gmail.com or Hockey Director, Nick Pollos at vikingshockeyhd@gmail.com
