Equipment 101
Player Gear
Full protective equipment is required to play ice hockey. Vikings players must wear a black helmet. The following equipment is required for players:
- Black Helmet (HECC certified with current, unexpired certification sticker. Helmet must be manufactured-finished black only; no wraps, carbon-fiber coverings, full helmet paint jobs or aftermarket color treatments allowed. Chin strap must be properly fastened with one finger width clearance. Any helmet that is altered will be deemed illegal equipment and must be replaced before participation)

Goalie Gear
Full protective equipment is required to play goalie. The following is required:
- Goalie Mask/Helmet (HECC certified)
- Mouthguard
- Neck Guard
- Chest Protector
- Blocker
- Catch Glove
- Goalie Cup or Pelvic Protector
- Goalie Pants
- Knee Pads
- Leg Pads
- Goalie Skates
- Goalie Stick
